2025 Year in Review

MoonDAO Wrapped

2025 has been a definitive year for our mission, with some incredible growth in our metrics and infrastructure.

Tomorrow, during our weekly Town Hall, Pablo will lead a 2025 Year in Review presentation. While we will recap the growth of our Space Acceleration Network and our new revenue initiatives, it's also a chance to celebrate the people building it and the community using it. That's YOU!

Whether you participated in our first launchpad initiative, voted on governance proposals, represented MoonDAO at in-person events, or contributed directly to a project, or donated to Space Camp, this year’s success is a direct result of your involvement.

What we will cover:

  • The Power of the Network: How 162+ Citizens from 30 countries are transforming the onchain space economy.
  • Building in Public: A look back at some of the projects and independent contributions that moved the needle this year.
  • Milestones & Momentum: Highlighting our biggest wins, from the Inspiration4 SpaceCamp fundraiser to the expansion of our Teams ecosystem.
  • The Path Ahead: How our work in 2025 is setting the stage for a great 2026.

MoonDAO exists because you choose to spend your time, talent, and energy here. We hope you’ll join us live tomorrow to reflect on what we have achieved together.

P.S. This will be our last Town Hall for the year, until we reconvene with Final Reports and Demo Day on January 8th, 2026!

Thank You from Space Camp

We're excited to share these thank you letters from the U.S. Space & Rocket Center Education Foundation recognizing the success of our Space Camp fundraiser.

Thanks to the MoonDAO community, we exceeded our $6,000 goal and raised $9,973.89 total, including additional direct donations made outside the onchain Launchpad campaign.

Every contribution goes toward expanding access to space education through the Inspiration4 Skills Training Complex.

This is what a community-led mission looks like.

Q1 Call for Projects

Looking to fund your space initiative in Q1 2026? We're about to kick off the new Seasonal Governance Cycle for projects with our first cohort. The window is getting short, and the standards are higher.

We are concentrating capital on high-impact work where only the top 50% of ranked proposals will be funded.

Here is the timeline:

January 6: Q4 deadline for all retroactive work and Q4 final reports. If you built it in 2025, submit it to get rewarded by voters. Project Leads should be sure to submit their final reports by then, and Citizens please submit any independent contributions from Q4 '25.

January 15: The deadline for NEW Q1 project proposals. If you want funding between Jan–Mar, you must submit by this date, or wait until the Q2 cohort in April. This new cycle includes a Senate review and workshop week (Jan 15–22) to refine your pitch before the community vote on Jan 22.

Get the conversation started in #Ideation and refine your ideas over the holidays.

You can learn more about the new seasonal governance process in last week's Town Hall presentation by Ryan. Last week's town hall also featured an amazing presentation by Trent and William about their experience at the Soyuz-28 launch from Baikonur, Kazakhstan, the culmination of the Art Rocket Project with the Unity Foundation in Brazil. Here's a look back at some of the work we did in Brazil:

Hello Reader, The aerospace industry has fundamentally shifted its focus in the past few weeks. SpaceX is deprioritizing Mars to build a self-growing lunar city. Blue Origin is halting suborbital operations to focus entirely on New Glenn and the Blue Moon lander. The infrastructure for permanent off-world settlement is accelerating.
