MoonDAO utilizes a dual funding mechanism designed to prioritize execution and accountability:

• Seed Capital: Approved proposals receive up to $4,682 USDC in funding.
• Retroactive Rewards: Upon completion, projects become eligible for additional capital from our quarterly rewards pool based on impact, as decided by voters.

Here is a cross section of active projects currently executing with MoonDAO capital:

• Deployable Video Payloads: Engineering a compact, deployable stabilizing camera capsule to capture third person telemetry and visual data of sounding rocket deployments.
• Maldives Space Research Balloons: Conducted an intensive workshop for the Maldives Space Research Organization to build, fly, and recover high altitude stratospheric balloons capable of carrying heavy payloads to near space.
• ACMA Ignites: Funding all-women student teams in Colombia to compete in the national rocketry contest, providing technical training and hardware for the next generation of aerospace engineers.
• Moon Founder's Club: Organizing a series of technical meetups and a dedicated MoonDAO track at the NASA Space Apps Challenge in Florianópolis, Brazil, to onboard regional builders into lunar settlement development.

We offer direct access to a treasury, transparent onchain governance, and a global network of specialized aerospace operators. We are looking for high agency operators ready to build.
