Incredible News from Blue Origin!

🚀 INCREDIBLE news from Blue Origin! MoonDAO’s very own Dr. Eiman Jahangir is part of the NS-26 crew! It has been a long and epic journey for our community to arrive at this milestone of sending our second person to space, and Eiman's journey from Tehran to Nashville, to becoming a cardiologist, and then winning the Ticket to Space contest a few months ago is nothing short of inspiring. We couldn’t be more excited to have Eiman representing the MoonDAO community.

An official launch date is still pending, but MoonDAO is one step closer to returning to space!

It's a great crew, and Eiman's participation has already generated a lot of buzz... Check out this recent feature with Eiman on WKRN News 2, his interview with members of the Inspired 24, or one of his recent podcast appearances.

Community Mission Patch

Introducing the official community mission patch for our Ticket to Space winner! Designed by I24-Titan, a number of these patches will fly to space with Dr. Eiman Jahangir and be distributed to members of the MoonDAO community as a space-flown keepsake. Q2 Retroactive Rewards

MoonDAO members have spoken and results are in from the Q2 retroactive rewards. We're pleased to announce that ryand2d, jigglyjams, Mitchie, name.get, and I24-Titan have been recognized as the top five contributors during that time and will be serving on the MoonDAO senate during Q3.

We'd also like to give a huge thank you to Fiyin and Phil for serving their term faithfully on the Senate throughout all of Q2.

The community-wide giving circle also saw participation from 15 people with more than 1.8 ETH rewarded. The community circle is open to everyone who provided meaningful impact to the DAO (that could be you during Q3!).

These retroactive rewards for team and community members will be going out in the next week or so with direct payment in ETH and vMOONEY voting rights staked and delegated to each member for four years. You can review the final vote tally and rewards to each project and each contributor below.

MoonDAO Election Candidates

🔥 We have three great candidates for the second Executive Branch Leader! ManuelOlariu, Mitchie, and ryand2d. It will be up to the MoonDAO community to vote between them to select our second Executive Branch Leader.

This upcoming Thursday (August 1st @ 12:00 PST) we will have each candidate share their visions for the future of MoonDAO in our townhall. Anyone can add their questions for the candidates here. (Code: 15968)
