Baikonur Attendee Vote

Voting is now open for our Art Rocket Project finalists to determine who will attend the launch in Baikonur, Kazakhstan! We had 14 entries from 14 incredible MoonDAO Citizens with some awesome ideas...

Please check out the videos and written responses from our candidates and explore some of their incredible ideas for a future MoonDAO project.

Then cast your vote! Vote Now: https://moondao.com/artrocket

You can vote for the candidate(s) with the coolest idea that you'd like to see become a reality and who you'd like to see represent MoonDAO at this Soyuz launch in November.

Distribute 100% of your voting power to one or more finalists then click submit to record your vote after wallet confirmation.

Proposal Updates

MoonDAO voters cast their votes on two big proposals recently. One was a proposed change to the Projects System which would have instituted seasonal governance, but was voted down by a narrow margin. This means that we'll be continuing with our standard proposal and projects system for Q4.

We have approximately $80,000 available in ETH in retroactive rewards for Q4, so we'd love to see your space project ideas become a reality. Submit them to #ideation in Discord, check out the proposal process, and put them up for vote to the MoonDAO community.

All MoonDAO projects are created by self-starters with a cool idea that they want to see become reality. Everything being done, is being done by someone like you.

The second vote was to fund the Executive Branch operations for the next six months, which was approved by a wide margin. This will provide funding for the EB through the end of March 2026. Increasing revenue for the DAO through new initiatives and growing the number of Citizens will be a primary focus, along with normal ongoing operations, bug bashing, and general improvements, such as bringing our voting system in-house to not rely on external tools.

Brent Sherwood Town Hall

Last week, we had a fascinating conversation with Brent Sherwood about space architecture, including some hard truths that we'll need to face if we want to expand humanity's presence to the Moon (which we do!).
