P.S. If you missed it, be sure to watch last week's livestream with Ellie in Space recapping her experience in ZeroG. Constitutional ChangesThanks to everyone who cast their votes for the recent constitutional amendments. All five proposed amendments were passed. These changes include extending the elected astronaut term length, lowering quorum for senate votes, removing guilds from the constitution, amongst other changes. You can review the vote results and amendments at vote.moondao.com. End of the QuarterIt’s the end of the quarter once again which means it’s time for another round of retroactive rewards where the DAO rewards contributors for already completed work. This incentive structure provides rewards in both ETH and vMOONEY and is designed to ensure that funds are allocated towards projects and team members with the largest impact as determined by the community. 🗓️ April 1st - Report Deadline Contributors: Final reports for any projects completed during Q1 should be finalized and posted to the appropriate channel in Discord. 🗓️ April 4th - Town Hall Final Project Presentations Everyone is welcome to watch the presentation of final reports to learn more about what each project has accomplished and the work that they’ve done to move the DAO forward. These insights will help inform your Snapshot vote! 🗓️ April 5th - Member House Vote The senate’s recommended distributions will be posted to Snapshot for MoonDAO members to cast their votes. It is the final result of the member vote that ultimately determines the distribution of rewards. Reminder: Be sure to update your Gitcoin passport stamps and stake your MOONEY prior to the vote going live. Bite-Sized Space NewsSoyuz DockingFollowing an initial launch abort, the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft successfully transported NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson, Russian cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, and Belarusian astronaut Marina Vasilevskaya to the International Space Station (ISS). The launch from Kazakhstan's Baikonur facility occurred after a two-day delay due to an automatic safety system interruption. Yuri Borisov, head of the Russian space agency, attributed the abort to a voltage drop in a power source. Dyson, on her third ISS mission, will stay for six months, while Novitsky, embarking on his fourth flight, and Vasilevskaya, on her debut mission, will spend 12 days aboard. The station remains a potent symbol of international cooperation despite tensions between Russia and the West and plans to remain operational until 2030. Starship Static FireSpaceX's upcoming Starship test flight has taken a fiery step forward with a recent static fire test. The Starship upper stage, equipped with all six Raptor engines, roared to life during the full-duration test at SpaceX's Starbase site in South Texas on March 25. This important prelaunch check, where engines are ignited while the vehicle remains anchored, sets the stage for the fourth Starship test flight anticipated in early May. Check out a video of the static fire. Despite challenges encountered during previous missions, such as the booster's unsuccessful landing burn and the craft's breakup upon reentry, notable successes were achieved, including flawless ascent burns and the opening and closing of the payload door. SpaceX is ambitiously planning six or more test flights this year, pending regulatory approvals from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, which is currently investigating the events of Starship's third flight. Last night we concluded our fundraising effort and raised over $172k from 157 contributions. This is a huge win for the Overview Effect. All over the world the concept is gaining massive traction, and our campaign has helped push the idea forward. With that awareness alone this campaign has been a success. However, our most important goal is to send Frank...

Hey everyone: We've made some updates to the overview flight terms and conditions based on a few pieces of new information: Some of the funds we’ve raised so far have come in off-chain (checks), while others have been direct ETH contributions through the website. Our current refund language only references the ETH committed to the contract, with refunds calculated solely on on-chain ETH raised after the fundraise ends. We may be able to negotiate a seat for Frank at a discounted price. To...
