Mission Success: THANK YOU

Mission Success: Space Camp

We raised 123% of our goal for a total of 1.9 ETH with over 50 backers 💪

Funds are going to inspire the next generation of explorers, artists, scientists, and engineers that will take us another step closer towards a multi-planetary future, supporting the Inspiration4 Space Camp Complex.

This demonstration is a small step towards a future where the space community can directly fund the future.

For decades space programs around the world have suffered from inconsistent funding, and this proves a new model for supporting the things we love.

We’re proving that everyday people can make a difference to influence the future of space exploration.

We will scale this model up to raise millions to push the frontier forward, allowing people from all over the world to unite around the awe of space exploration.

Best of all we are furthering a model of online coordination with:

  • Transparent finances.
  • Secure governance.
  • Open source software.

The MoonDAO community is amazing, and we're so thankful to everyone who participated in this fundraiser and gave us feedback to make these tools better and better. Thank you everyone for your support!!!

MoonDAO at the MS-28 Launch in Baikonur

We have three MoonDAO citizens on the ground in Baikonur, Kazakhstan for the MS-28 Soyuz launch in less than 12 hours! This includes the winner of our recent community vote, who is attending alongside two other citizens to represent MoonDAO during a profoundly meaningful rocket launch.

This launch features artwork on the exterior of the Soyuz rocket created by children with cancer, made possible through our partnership with the Unity Foundation. It is a privilege for MoonDAO to be part of this project and to have Trent, Julio, and William on site carrying the MoonDAO message forward in a new country.

Town Hall Break

There will be no Town Hall tomorrow, Thursday Nov 27, due to the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States. Most of the executive branch team and senate will be offline.

We will return to our normal schedule next week on Thursday Dec 4 with project updates and any new proposals.

You can always view upcoming events and RSVP for reminders below.

But if you missed last week's town hall, be sure to check out the recording! We had a fascinating conversation with Ian Long of AnthroFuturism talking about mass drivers and how we can accelerate lunar development.
