The Overview Effect Flight campaign has raised approximately $172,000. Zero funds have been spent to date. Following a 30 day diligence period evaluating 12 commercial space tourism companies, contributors must now determine the next phase of the mission.

Market Diligence Summary:

• We can secure a single stratospheric balloon seat for Frank now.
• We cannot outright purchase two seats or a suborbital flight without further fundraising.
• No stratospheric balloon provider is currently operating a commercial crewed service.
• A suborbital contract from Virgin Galactic is attainable but requires additional funding.
• Active partnership negotiations may still lower costs or secure volume discounts.

The Three Paths Before the Community:

Option A: Commit Now to a Stratospheric Balloon Place a deposit for one seat for Frank. The campaign is declared complete and the community candidate seat is deferred. This secures a confirmed seat but introduces risk regarding provider timeline delays.

Option B: Keep Options Open and Continue Fundraising Do not commit to a single provider yet. Continue fundraising to expand the budget for two seats, ensuring a community candidate flies alongside Frank. This maximizes optionality and allows the commercial space sector to mature before capital is locked.

Option C: Activate Refunds Initiate the on chain refund payhook. Contributors can burn $OVERVIEW for pro rata ETH over a 28 day window. This gracefully concludes the campaign and returns all funds to the community.
