Top Contributors Announced: Congrats!

Retroactive Rewards

The votes and calculations are in from our latest retroactive rewards cycle!

We’re excited to announce that Sarah@TreasureCorp, Jade, Name.get, Mitchie, and Phil were our top overall project contributors last cycle and will serve on the Senate throughout Q3 to help guide MoonDAO.

Special shoutout to Hudlerr and Wais.eth, who were also among our top contributors!

We also have the results from the Community Circle, recognizing outstanding independent contributions outside of project work. Big congratulations to our top three last quarter:

  • Dr. Eiman Jahangir, awarded 0.1524 ETH (~$573)
  • Chris Stott, awarded 0.1353 ETH (~$509)
  • Peter Hague, awarded 0.1283 ETH (~$483)

Each will also receive a commensurate amount of vMOONEY voting power, with distributions made in the coming days.

You can apply for future retroactive rewards by submitting proof of your work. Contributions don’t need to be tied directly to MoonDAO. As long as they help advance our mission, they qualify!

Upcoming Events

This Thursday, we're excited to welcome Hoyt Davidson, Executive VP of the National Space Society and founder of Near Earth LLC, a leading investment bank in commercial space.

With a career spanning from Lockheed engineering labs to Wall Street’s first space finance group, Hoyt brings rare insight into how capital fuels the space frontier. We’ll explore the evolution of space investment and where the next big opportunities lie.

ICYMI: Last week, we had a phenomenal conversation with Andy Aldrin, space policy expert, educator, and son of Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin. Catch the recording on YouTube:

MoonDAO in Brazil?

Voting closes in ~24 hours for MDP-181: the Art Rocket Project in Brazil.

This proposal requests 5 ETH to support a humanitarian initiative combining space, art therapy, and outreach for oncology patients, with MoonDAO astronaut Dr. Eiman Jahangir scheduled to participate.

It's up to you, our MoonDAO voters, to decide whether to approve this project. Please read the full proposal and cast your vote before the deadline.

MoonDAO x LOGIC

MoonDAO cofounder Pablo Moncada-Larrotiz recently presented in front of the Lunar Operating Guidelines for Infrastructure Consortium (LOGIC), a DARPA-led group administered by JHU‑APL that’s shaping standards (like power, communications, navigation) for future lunar infrastructure, about blockchain infrastructure designed to support mission planning and interoperability on the Moon.

Developed in partnership with ICON3DTech, this system enables trustless, peer-to-peer collaboration, crucial for environments like the lunar surface where connectivity is sparse and autonomy is essential.

The framework leverages a powerful stack of open-source technologies, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, IPFS, Tableland, Safe, and more, bringing credibly neutral solutions to off-planet coordination.

We're definitely not just memes.

Thanks for being part of the mission.

Whether you’re contributing to a project, voting in proposals, or joining weekly community calls, every action helps shape the future of decentralized space. Stay engaged, stay curious, and we’ll see you in the Discord.
