Retroactive Rewards Vote

Each of these projects and their contributors is now eligible for retroactive rewards chosen by YOU: our voters and citizens. This vote is central to MoonDAO governance, guiding how resources are allocated and determining which projects had the greatest impact.

Voting closes at the end of today!

Your input will help distribute up to 15.4 ETH (about $46,000 USD) and 8.98 million MOONEY (locked for four years as vMOONEY) to contributors, minus any upfront payments. Ten percent is reserved for independent community contributions.

Steps to vote:

  1. Connect your wallet
  2. Distribute 100 points across the projects
  3. Submit your vote

Rewards cycles happen every quarter. Have an idea you would like considered next round? Share it in #ideation and submit a proposal.

P.S. The constitutional amendments have both passed and changes will be merged into our documentation to reflect the will of voters.

Andy Aldrin Town Hall

Join us this Thursday for a live conversation and Q&A with Andy Aldrin, space policy expert, educator, and son of Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin. We will reflect on the legacy of the Moon landing ahead of its 56th anniversary and explore the past, present, and future of space exploration.

The Cost of Spaceflight in Bitcoin

Over the past decade, the price of launching one kilogram to orbit has fallen roughly tenfold when measured in USD, and more than one thousandfold when measured in Bitcoin. Onchain capital is achieving escape velocity.

Axiom-4 Returns to Earth

Axiom‑4, the fourth private mission to the International Space Station organized by Axiom Space and flown with SpaceX, splashed down safely off the California coast on 15 July 2025. Former NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson, now Director of Human Spaceflight at Axiom, completed her fifth flight and extended her United States record to 695 total days in space.

She flew with astronauts from India, Poland, and Hungary, marking the first official ISS missions for those countries. During their 18‑day stay, the crew conducted over sixty microgravity experiments and returned with valuable scientific samples.
